Fill Your Own Flask Experience

Dysart house, Kempton, has been home to Old Kempton Distillery since November 2015. On site we make a variety of spirits including; single malt whisky, gin, liqueurs and special releases. All made using 100% Tasmanian ingredients. 

Fill your very own Old Kempton black steel flask to take home! Using a very special muscat release, not available anywhere else, you will fill your 200ml flask, write your own personalised label and have a very special souvenir to take home and use over and over again. This experience, and release, is only available until sold out. 

Following your experience you can take a seat in our stunning Cask Lounge, located in the grand coaching inn that is the Old Kempton cellar door and maybe take part in a tasting!

Lunch is available daily, and highly recommended. Lunch options include; local Tasmanian produce antipasto platters, Devonshire tea and daily specials. Cocktails, coffee and other tastings are all available through our café which is open 10am - 4pm daily.

Finish your afternoon with a browse in our Cellar Door- full of all our Old Kempton Distillery products, spirits and souvenirs of your visit to Dysart House. 

Please note: we also offer take-home whisky tasting packs for all designated drivers who wish to still be included on the tour.
